Raemoir Garden Centre
Raemoir Garden Centre has been helping and advising gardeners for over 30 years. As a local, independently run business, we focus on offering what our customers actually need — not what a distant head office decides.
The centre was founded from scratch on a greenfield site by local GP Dr Frank Mair, a keen amateur gardener who recognised a lack of resources for gardeners in the area. With no retail background, his vision was simple: bring quality plants to Banchory and create a welcoming place for people to enjoy. That ethos still guides us today – listening to our customers and providing choice, quality and personal service.
Over the years, Raemoir Garden Centre has grown to include the Garden Restaurant, Raemoir Café, and a Gift & Accessories shop. It’s now more than just a garden centre – it’s somewhere you can spend a relaxed couple of hours, enjoy good food and coffee, and browse plants or gifts at your own pace.
While things have evolved, we remain true to Dr Mair’s original vision, continuing to build our reputation as one of Scotland’s leading garden centres.
